Outreach Week! June 3rd-8th, 2013

Our Outreach Week is just a few weeks away and this year we’re going to 4 retirement homes plus performing at the Fat Cat Children’s Festival and Lilligard Festival. Outreach is one of the core values of the Arts Centre and is a great opportunity for us to take the energy and the heart of Creator’s Arts Centre out of these 4 walls and use them to bless and uplift the community. All the classes will be performing with the exception of “Starting Out”, “Not too Busy”, “Day at the Beach”, “Greed”, “I’m Fine”, “Legacy” and “A Cautionary Tale” so please check the following information carefully so you know which venue you’re performing at! All regular classes are cancelled this week.

Also, it is MANDITORY that all dancers who will be participating in outreach week attend classes the week of May 27th – June 1st. Many of the performance venues are smaller then the KCT and the dances will need to be re-worked for the new spaces. If you cannot come that week or cannot participate in Outreach week, you must LET YOUR TEACHER KNOW immediately. Thank you.

Part of what makes these outreach performances special is the chance we get to interact with the audience.
