Our lively yet structured dance classes are designed to help develop your child’s physical and cognitive skills while encouraging creativity, expression, and musicality.
Students in our First Steps Program will develop the skills they need to transition into any style of dance they choose. Our First Steps program offers intake in September and January of each season and each session ends with a fun showcase of what they have leaned.
Through our well-established curriculum, students will learn:
- to move with control, coordination and confidence
- an awareness of their body and how it moves through space
- a sensitivity to music
- expression of emotions through movement
- team work and social skills that will assist them in other learning environments such as school
