IMPACT COMPETITION TEAM SUMMER INTENSIVE:
required training for IMPACT students but open to all dancers
(min. 2 years of experience) Aug. 17-21 9am - 3pm $399
Dancers can expect classes in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical, Dance Conditioning, and Team bonding!
Lunch, snacks, and water bottles are required each day. (No nuts or sesame).
Welcome guest Instructors/Choreographers Emily Henry and Harmony Appell!
Harmony began her dance journey at the age of 2.5 and has been teaching and choreographing since she was 14. She has trained with some of Canada’s most prestigious companies and choreographers in various styles, including jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, tap, hip hop, pointe, acro, musical theater, improv, and ballroom. Her education and training have taken her across Ontario, Manitoba, British Columbia, New York & California, with her most recent attendance at The Dance Awards in Orlando, Florida, to further her skills and draw inspiration from the best in the industry. Throughout her career, Harmony has had the privilege of training and performing with Canada’s National Ballet School, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School and the Moscow Ballet Company. She has taken classes with many renowned instructors, always seeking ways to improve.
Harmony’s choreography has earned her numerous awards, scholarships, and recognition, including top choreography, judge’s choice, and many other specialty awards. Her students have been accepted into prestigious ballet schools, university dance teams, and have trained and performed internationally in Greece and England. Her choreography has also played a role in helping numerous studios achieve their “top studio” titles.
Emily is a ballet and contemporary dance instructor currently teaching at Kootenay DanceWorks in Rossland, BC. Emily’s dance training consists of direct mentorship by Renee Salsiccioli, the studio director and graduate of the Palucca University of Dance Dresden Master Dance Teacher program. Through this mentorship, Emily has explored new pedagogical approaches through hands-on teaching, choreography, anatomy, and dance medicine. Emily values community and inclusivity and is passionate about creating a safe and supportive environment where every student feels seen and valued. She enjoys sharing her love for ballet technique, creative expression, and guiding dancers to discover their own artistic voice.
ACRO SUMMER INTENSIVE:
monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday from 1-5pm $350
This 4 day intensive is for beginners and dancers with experience in Acro! All are welcome!
Each day dancers can expect:
- Warm Up and Conditioning
- Balance, Limbering and Tumbling skills
- Partnering Skills
- Flexibility Training
We are excited to have Creator's Arts Centre's own Ms. Codi and Ms. Laura join us for this 4-day Summer Acro Intensive! Together they bring experience and training from Acrobatic Arts, Acro Dance Teachers Association, Alixa Flexibility, and so much more!
Codi Dalen is a Registered Teacher (RTS) with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), Acrobatic Arts (AAC) and Alixa Flexibility Level 1 Certified.
Laura Elliott is a certified instructor with the Acro Dance Teachers Association and has certifications in Alixa Flexibility and Sugarfoot Dance Therapy.
IMPACT HIP HOP CREW SUMMER INTENSIVE:
required training for IMPACT CREW dancers but open to all dancers
(min. 2 years of experience) monday - friday 5 - 7pm $180
Required summer intensive for Junior and Senior Crews with Ms. Tianna.
Brush off those grooves and get ready to be competition ready!
Designed for Impact Junior and Senior Crews (2026.27) but open to all dancers interested in fine-tuning their hip hop (2+ dance experience required).
Ms. Tianna Kacic started dancing at Creator's Arts Centre when she was just 3 years old, joined the IMPACT competition team when she was 10, and has now been teaching and choreographing at Creator's Arts Centre for the past 4 years. She is excited to bring her creative energy to the IMPACT Hip Hop Intensive this summer!

Space is limited and many classes will fill quickly. Early registration is strongly encouraged.

Minimum enrollment is required for each class. If a class does not meet its minimum, it may be canceled or merged with another level.

If a class is canceled by Creator’s Arts Centre, you will receive a full refund or credit.

Withdrawals and Refunds: Withdrawals made 7 or more days before the start of the class are eligible for a full refund minus a $10 admin fee. No refunds will be issued for withdrawals made within 7 days of the start date, unless for documented medical reasons.
