Jazz

Jazz dance classes are a fun way for young dancers to develop their dance technique. Jazz dance is typically performed with contemporary music and at Creator’s Arts Centre we are committed to age-appropriate dance training. All music, choreography and costuming is carefully selected, putting our student’s training first.

The modern Jazz style of dance is often associated with broadway and theatrical dance performance. Upbeat and fast-paced, today’s Jazz classes are set to both traditional and contemporary music with an emphasis on helping dancers develop technique. Like Ballet, Jadd places an emphasis on strength, posture, alignment, extensions and control, creating a strong foundation for dance as a whole.

Creator’s Arts Centre strongly recommends Jazz for all levels of dancers, from beginner to advanced, who are looking to improve their technique, fitness, and enhance their performance skills.
