She has been dancing since she was four years old ever since her mom enrolled her in a small dance competition, where she fell in love with music and movement.<\/p>\n<p>She grew up learning to dance in a variety of styles, including jazz, contemporary, competitive hip hop, and Indian classical. She eventually discovered her passion in the various competitive styles of Hip-Hop, such as wacking, locking, house and break dancing, but she stays passionate about every style of dance she&#8217;s learnt over the years.<\/p>\n<p>She began choreographing at the age of 16 for small school dances and workshops at her home studio and then expanded to teaching dance at a professional level. She has now been professionally teaching dance for 4 years and is currently also a choreographer for her University&#8217;s dance teams at UBC.<\/p>\n<p>With her diverse upbringing, Anija draws inspiration from a wide range of styles and is passionate about sharing her style and love for dance.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\"
