Dance Instructor, Assistant Ballet Director
Born and raised in Kelowna, Kylie started dancing at age 3 and immediately fell in love. She was a student here at Creator’s Arts Centre for 11 years where she took classes in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, contemporary, lyrical, and acro. During this time, she was a representative at the Performing Arts BC Provincial Festival, performed in Disneyland, attended a variety of dance intensives, and attained her Royal Academy of Dance Advanced 2 level under the training of Joanna Lige and Chris Larsen.
From a young age, Kylie knew that she wanted to teach dance. She received teacher training and mentorship from her wonderful teachers at Creators. She has also completed her Progressing Ballet Technique teaching certification.
Kylie loves teaching because it gives her an opportunity to have a positive impact on dancers, just as her teachers had on her. She finds it so rewarding to share her love of dance and help students reach their fullest potential.
